Too much fun last night

Thanks to all of you who came out last night to support us up at the Mishawaka. It was a great show and having all of you up there really made it. It's a great feeling to be playing in front of a crowd doing your own music and having everybody really into it.

A couple of the guys up there at the Mish really liked our set and our music and would like to have us back up there during the summer - so a big thanks to all of you for coming up and packing the place and cheering us on. Hopefully you can all make it back up for a show when we're playing outside on the stage by the river under the stars.

Also a big thanks to Soul Creek for having us play with them and hopefully for all of you that were able to stick around and hear their set - we'll be able to play some more gigs with them later on down the road.

Also just a reminder, next Saturday evening Waido and I will be playing at Chug's Pub over on Prospect and College from 7:00ish to 11:00ish so we hope a lot of you can make it out to that show as well.

Later,
wza

Two upcoming gigs to end April

Hey Everybody!

Hope this finds you all doing well in whatever you're doing today. We've got a couple of gigs coming up I wanted to put out there for you all to know about. We're excited to be playing both of these places and would really like to continue playing them, so it'd be great if we could draw a pretty big crowd.

The first gig is this Saturday (April 22nd) night at Mishawaka Amplitheatre! We'll be opening up for the band Soul Creek, a kind of acoustic reggae type band from Denver. We'd love to play a lot more with them around town and get some bigger gigs at the Mish, so it'd be great for all of you to come on up if you don't have any plans for the night.
The show starts at 8:00pm and is $5 at the door.
The bands will be set up on the inside stage, and the patio will be open, so come on up early, grab a seat in the evening sun by the river, and get some dinner before the music starts.

The second gig is the last Saturday in April - April 29th - and we'll be playing at Chug's Pub in Fort Collins, CO. This is a new thing for us and will be a new thing for the bar as they are just starting up with having live music over the weekends. We're really excited to play and would like to continue playing there, so we'd like to bring a big crowd with us.
Chug's Pub is located on College and Prospect in the plaza with Chuckie Cheese in it. We'll be playing from 7:00 - 11:00 so for those of you who don't like to come out to the late shows at Lucky Joe's, this will be a good opportunity to check us out. Also (although I haven't been out there at night) I would assume it's not going to be really crowded, and most likely there won't be a line. So for all of you who don't like to wait in line and come to a loud crowded bar that we usually play, this is the gig for you.

Anyway, tell all your friends and hopefully we'll see you out the next couple weeks!

Fun times at Lucky Joes

Hey Everybody!

It's been a week since our shows last Saturday, but just like to thank all of you who came out and said hey to us at our show for SAVA in Old Town Square and at Lucky Joe's that night. We had a great time playing and we hope you had a great time while you were there. Thanks to all of you who we hadn't seen out in our shows for awhile, hope you'll all come out again.

Our next show is coming up next week and we're going to need all of you up there. We're playing Mishawaka with the band Soul Creek Saturday April 22nd, and all of you who are coming up are in store for a great time. Hope to see you all up there!

Quick change from last post

So quick change of plans.

Sorry for any of you who live near the vicinity of Greeley and were looking forward to having us down there again, but the show got cancelled. Luckily enough we got a call from Joe Vader needing a band Saturday night at Lucky Joe's so we will be there instead. Unfortunately it is no longer an all ages show, and is a little later in the evening.

So come hang out with us during the lunch hour outside near the fountain of Old Town Square and then come out that night just a couple feet north and see us from 9:30 - 1:00 at Lucky Joes. Again, get there before 10:30 if you don't want to wait in line.

See you there!
Dave :)

Michael Waido Band - Saturday April 8th 2006

Hey everybody!
So spring is here and summer is on its way, and with it the various out door shows and festivals that make Fort Collins the great town that it is.
This Saturday the Michael Waido Band is kicking off our out door shows with a benefit concert for the Fort Collins SAVA program. This will be the second year in a row that we've been asked to play, and we were lucky enough last year to have great weather, so hopefully this year will be just as good. We will be playing this Saturday from 12:30 - 1:30 in Old Town Square right by the fountain. So get there early, grab a table on the patio at Coop's and listen to some great original music for the lunch hour.

Then later that evening we will be playing at the Rio Grande in Greeley, CO. Our last show there was a lot of fun for us, but we only had about 15 people there - all family or close family friends. So this time we need your help to come out and get the room rockin'. We play from 8:00 - 11:00 in a room to the right as you walk in the restaurant with a huge stage and a great dance floor, so come hang out with us and get your groove on.

This is quite the unique day for our band for a couple reasons -- both shows are all ages shows, and both shows get done before midnight! Also, as usual, both shows are free, so come on out and have a good time.

As a quick heads up, the Michael Waido Band will be opening up for Soul Creek at the Mishawaka Amplitheatre on Saturday April 22nd, so if you're not doing something else that takes precedent - i.e. Jules' birthday - you should make the trip up the canyon and hang out with us for the night.

Wishing everybody the best as always,
Dave :)
